Survival Spanish for Nurses was born at the bedside and at home.
It began when a labor and delivery nurse came home with questions she couldn't answer in Spanish, revealing a real gap in bedside communication.Created by an experienced educator and a labor and delivery nurse, the program focuses on practical phrases nurses use every day- without grammar drills, memorization, or prior Spanish experience.
Who This is For
For nurses who want to communicate clearly and confidently with Spanish-speaking patients at the bedside-without grammar drills, memorization, or prior Spanish experience.
What This is Not
This program is designed to support basic, respectful bedside communication and does not replace certified medical interpreter services. Interpreters should always be used for informed consent, diagnoses, and complex medical discussions.
